💡 Ripple Opportunities is on a mission to redefine how purpose-driven professionals and organisations connect, grow, and thrive. We’re not your average job board. Think of us as the matchmaker, cheerleader, and launchpad for impactful careers, community leadership, and high-performing teams in the social impact space.

✨ Joining Ripple means stepping into the heart of a fast-moving, purpose-driven business. You’ll help bring our big vision to life: mobilising a critical mass of people into impact-driven work while ensuring innovative organisations - like B Corps, social enterprises, NFPs, corporate impact teams, and educational institutions - have seamless access to top-tier, values-aligned talent for jobs, fellowships, advisory roles, and more.

🚀 This is a hands-on, high-energy and flexible freelance role. You’ll work closely with the CEO and Head of Business & Operations - leaders with zig-zaggy, high-impact careers who know great experience doesn’t always come wrapped in a shiny degree. They’re big on hiring self-propelled doers who bring initiative, curiosity, and a knack for getting things done.

🥤 You’ll be at the heart of our matchmaking - reaching out to Ripple members, thinking laterally about their skills, and seeing their potential. You'll also curate and approve opportunities, support impact organisations in finding the right talent, and amplify opportunities across our network to connect purpose-driven people with impactful roles. Balancing systemised tasks with high emotional intelligence and problem-solving, you’ll help shape Ripple’s growth while ensuring our operations, communications, and community engagement run smoothly.

🌟 What’s in it for you? Initially this is a 10 - 16 hours/week freelance role with potential of expansion. Work from anywhere in Australia with the flexibility to fit your life, collaborate with a vibrant, values-driven community, and thrive in a role where tech meets purpose.

What's involved:

This isn’t just a community admin role – it’s a chance to bring structure, creativity, and problem-solving together to keep things running smoothly while making meaningful connections.

The role will evolve over time but to hit the ground running:

〰️ 40% Community Engagement & Communications

This role is all about meaningful interactions – whether through inbox management, social engagement, membership support, or client communications. While inbox zero might spark joy, you don’t just respond – you interpret problems, anticipate needs, and create moments of value. From triaging enquiries, outreaching to members, interacting with candidates and problem-solving on the fly, to making someone's day with a proactive check-in, you ensure every interaction strengthens our community and embodies Ripple’s tone of voice – warm, clear, and human.

〰️ 40% Content Creation & Opportunity Curation

You'll curate and approve high-impact opportunities; fellowships, grants, accelerators, and more - helping members build career-boosting portfolios of experience. You know where to look, who to connect with, and how to keep our Opps Board and newsletters fresh and relevant. You'll think strategically about how we present opportunities, experimenting with formats and storytelling techniques across our channels to engage our audience and attract amazing, values-aligned organisations.

〰️ 20% Operations, Systems & Admin

Streamline processes, manage Airtable systems, and improve efficiency while handling essential admin tasks like bookings, research, travel arrangements, inbox organisation, opportunity listing and subscription management - ensuring everything runs smoothly and scales efficiently.
