💜 ReLove isn’t just about furniture - it’s about transformation. Through our charity, we provide families and individuals escaping crisis with safe, dignified and free furniture shopping experiences for their homes. With ReLove Shop for Good, we’ve expanded into a social enterprise that resells lifestyle furniture to fund this vital work.
🛋️ Our impact in action: 784 families set up in safe housing, 74% of them women escaping violence and homelessness. 1,200 tonnes of furniture saved from landfill. 100 volunteers a week, powering 5,000+ days of hands-on change. Backed by 70+ charity and agency partners. Side by side with communities we’re proving that sustainability and social impact can go hand in hand - because everyone deserves a place to land.
📣 As Creative Communications Specialist (AKA the wordsmith, brand-builder, and megaphone-wielder we need) you will play an instrumental role in developing and executing creative comms that amplify ReLove’s work; helping to create more Homes with Heart for people leaving crisis situations.
🔗 From bootstrapped-but-brilliant reels through to coffee-sipping reads across longer formats and punchy grants, you'll leverage your creativity to produce content that amplifies the 100's of small stories that unfold each week. The impact? More people can be inspired, connect and find their opportunity to play a role in ReLove's innovative model of impact.
👩💻 You'll work directly with ReLove's Founders to capture the magic and full spectrum of inner workings of ReLove so that all kinds of stakeholders - including CEO's and philanthropists, governments, non-profit & community partners as well as the general public - discover, connect and engage with their work.
💫 You'll be joining one of Australia's leading social innovators, working alongside values-driven leaders and a diverse team on the cusp of growth to help thousands of people restart their lives with dignity and a sprinkle of joy.
🏡 This is a full-time role based on-site at ReLove in Sydney, with the option for one day (equivalent) of flexible or hybrid work.

From the businesses and people donating furniture, time, and effort that stock ReLove’s warehouse, to the volunteer staff from all walks of life that keep this huge operation running. As our Creative Communications Specialist, you will be at the helm of bringing the magic of ReLove's work to the world beyond our walls.

You’re the voice behind ReLove - shaping our stories, growing our community, and ensuring every reel, post, and comment sparks connection. From on-the-fly video edits to thoughtful LinkedIn reflections, you’ll turn everyday impact into content that moves people to action.
〰️ 30% Long-Form Writing: Grants, Newsletters, Reports & Op-Eds
From high-stakes funding applications to deep-dive thought leadership, you’ll craft compelling narratives that show (not just tell) the power of ReLove’s work. Whether it’s a data-packed impact report or a heartfelt donor update, you know how to strike the right balance of insight and inspiration.
〰️ 20% Campaign & Partnership Support
You’ll bring fundraising appeals, advocacy pushes, and major partnerships to life - creating the comms, assets, and engagement strategies that rally people behind our mission. Whether it’s launching a campaign with a corporate partner or taking an event from concept to execution, you’ll ensure our work gets the spotlight it deserves.

Your creative and precise writing skills mean you can jump effortlessly from crafting a newsletter to preparing a deck, refining a keynote, or whipping up an engaging social post.
📱 Know your way around digital: Confidently creating reels on the daily, crafting posts for Instagram and LinkedIn, and turning analytics into action. You instinctively know what works on different platforms and aren’t afraid to experiment.
🎤 Are a natural storyteller: Big ideas? Complex concepts? No worries. You translate them into clear, compelling content that sticks - whether it’s a thought-provoking post, a high-impact campaign, or a funding application that seals the deal.
🧠 Have a strategic mind: You don’t just throw content into the void and hope for the best. You’re always thinking about who it’s for, why it matters, and how to make it unforgettable - whether it’s a funding pitch, a campaign with real cut-through, or a must-read impact report.
