They’re dedicated to making personal training and support more accessible, and giving people the opportunity to come together around something positive several times a week. The Deadly Runners model helps nurture a power that is already there with mob, breaking down barriers to connection, leadership development and community support to drive transformative, culturally safe impact in communities.

  • 🚀 Georgia Weir’s personal journey led her to share the magic of running with her local community. It’s since inspired a movement that has been spotlighted across the media and seen her recognised as a Snow Entrepreneur and 2024 finalist for NAIDOC Person of the Year. Now, the team is looking for someone to help lead the growth strategy of this innovative and community driven social enterprise.

  • 💛 You'll be joining a values-led team, with the founder and advisors having highly impactful careers that inform their leadership. Integrity, transparency, respect, trust and mob-led solutions are core to their work.

  • This org gets that your grants, fundraising and partnership experience could be built from a range of places - whether it be in a startup or business, community non-profit, social enterprise or something else entirely! Passion, drive and initiative is as important as your experience. You’ll have an appetite for the realities, challenges and opportunities of growing a social enterprise.

  • In addition to taking the lead on a fundraising strategy that compounds support from philanthropy, government and other aligned partners, the team is looking for someone that can collaborate to help build broader long-term partnerships that align, grow and enhance Deadly Runners’ programs and services.

  • 🧩 Finding the right fit for this purpose-led role is top of mind. The person in this role will have strong stakeholder management skills and ideas to creatively leverage and scale this innovative community model across all kinds of impact spheres.

  • ⚠️ The successful candidate can have flexibility to work from anywhere in Australia, part time (21 hours per week) one year fixed term contract, with potential for extension. May include some travel.
