Why you might love this opp:
  • 🏋 Confit Pathways is a transformative non-profit tackling Australia’s high recidivism rates head-on. Confit’s innovative model delivers relatable, high-impact programs in juvenile justice centres. What makes them different? Every program is led by individuals with lived prison experience who have transformed their journeys into purpose through fitness and mentorship. They possess the unique ability to connect, build trust, and ignite hope in the young people they serve.

  • 🔩 With big vision and inspiring leadership, Confit Pathways has rallied an incredible circle of supporters and gained serious momentum including being featured across SBS, Channel 7 & The Sydney Morning Herald, and supported by the Westpac Foundation, Snow Foundation and others.

  • You'll be joining a values-led team, with the founder and a range of advisors having highly impactful careers that inform their leadership. People, community, respect, trust and creative problem solving are core to their work.

  • 🚀 This org gets that your high-level operations, program management and impact reporting experience could be built from a range of places - whether it be in a startup or side project, corporate or something else entirely! Maybe you’re an industry veteran ready to share your wisdom, or a senior founding operator that can complement the CEO’s visionary leadership style? Either way, you’ll be ready to implement and execute, while also working collaboratively to grow team cohesion and organisational efficacy.

  • 🧩 Finding the right fit for this purpose-led role is top of mind. Passion, drive and some creative grit is as important as your experience; you’ll be working directly with the CEO to deliver unique impact across the nation. Your focus and not-so-secret love of process efficiency (perhaps even spreadsheets) will help create the magic formula for this org’s next chapter of growth and sustainability.

  • ⚠️ The successful candidate can work flexibility from anywhere in Australia. If you’re in Sydney and can attend events then that’s a bonus. Initially this will be a 3 month contract role, two days (16 hours) per week with room for flexibility per agreement prior to commencement. Please outline any requests for flexibility / preferred hours in your application.
What's involved:
To hit the ground running:
You're someone who can get stuck in and assess where the current organisation performance is at, build rapport and rally the team around you, and identify a short and medium term strategy to ensure Confit Pathways operates like a well-oiled machine.

The balance of work will depend on candidate strengths but as a guide:
〰️ 50%  Operations leadership:
Review, manage and optimise coordination,  logistics and stakeholder engagement across key operations (programs, speaking engagements, virtual hubs etc.)
〰️ 25%  Organisation performance and process efficiency:
Assess and optimise processes, policies and reporting systems across all aspects of the business (programs, team, budgets etc.)
〰️ 25%   Impact reporting:
Align, streamline and optimise impact from program implementation through to budget allocation, grant acquittals and impact reporting
Key criteria:
